HANNC, a thriving club for over 40 years, is dedicated to providing a welcoming and congenial social experience. We are proud to bring together neighbors and newcomers from Dauphin County, Lebanon County, and areas beyond.
Join us today --- we would love to share all that HANNC has to offer.
General Meetings
All are welcome to our General Meetings! You do not have to be a HANNC member to attend.
General Meetings are held the second Monday of the month at the:
Hershey Public Library
Room 1&2
701 Cocoa Avenue
Hershey, PA 17033
Begins: 10:15 am
Ends: About 12:15 pm
Guests interested in joining HANNC are encouraged to attend a General Meeting. You will be greeted by a Club Ambassador who will answer any questions and introduce you to the members after the Speaker's presentation.
When scheduled, speaker presentations will begin promptly at 10:30 am. The business portion of our meetings will follow the speaker.
We do not meet in May, June, July, August and December.
Mah Jongg
Meets weekly on Wednesdays at 10:00 am
Mah Jongg is a tile-based game, developed in 19th century China. Our members love this game so much they meet every week. Never knew this game existed? Give it a try.
We follow the rules of the National Mah Jongg League. An annual rules card is required for play and is $15.00. You can order a card by visiting www.nationalmahjonggleague.org website.
Please do not order the card from Amazon. It is not an approved card and frequently has errors.

You can play online for free at myjongg.net (4 free games per day).
Games
Meets the third Monday of the month 10:00 am
We play Dominoes, Rummikub, and Scattergories to name a few. Everyone attending has such a great time. Maybe you can teach us a new game. We love suggestions.
Coffee Break
Meets 3 Tuesdays a month at 11:05 am
After walking, your HANNC friends meet at a favorite coffee shop for that tasty cup of steaming java. Don't care to walk that day? No problem. Just meet your friends at the coffee shop.
Lunch Bunch
Meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 11:30 am
What a great opportunity to experience the variety of cuisines that the area has to offer, while enjoying conversations with our friendly members.
Social Hour
Meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 4:00 pm
It's a perfect time to socialize and unwind with friends.
Triple Play
Meets the first and third Thursdays of the month at 10:00 am
Triple Play Canasta is a team card game that is easy to learn. Beginner card players are always welcome so come join the fun.
Book Club
Meets once per month on Friday 11:30 am
Bring your love of literature to our group and join in lively, positive discussions.
Breakfast Bunch
Meets on the fourth Thursday of the month at 9:30 am
Nothing says enjoyment like meeting at a favorite restaurant to chat with friends while enjoying some morning brew and a bite to eat.
Knitting & Needle Enthusiasts
Meets the second Thursday of the month at 10:00.
Bring your knitting, crocheting, embroidery, etc. and enjoy sharing patterns, ideas, tips, and funny mishaps. Of course chatting with others while you work your craft is enjoyable in itself.

What's the club all about? The club is to promote friendship, share information about our local community, and provide opportunities for social interactions through a variety of interest groups.
How are HANNC dues collected? Dues are paid by cash or by check made payable to HANNC, and collected by the club's Treasurer at General Meetings. Funds collected help cover expenses such as monthly Speaker fees, yearly website fees, and publications. Yearly Membership dues in the amount of $30 are required and must be paid by October 31.. Our Club year runs from September 1 - August 31. Those who join on or after February 1 will pay a reduced amount of $15. All members will then pay full membership dues in September of the next Club year.
How do I become a member? Guests are invited to attend General Meetings, which are held on the second Monday of the month, from September - November and January - April. General Meetings are held at the Hershey Public Library at 10:15am, in Meeting Rooms #1&2. Greeters will welcome you and provide details about the club activities. You may participate in activities for one month prior to joining the club. Membership will be granted when dues are paid.
How is club information distributed to members? Monthly Newsletters, Website, Membership Lists, and other information is distributed to paid members only, via email.
